The Pakistan Cricket Board meets with the Pakistani Super League franchise

As per a statement issued by the Cricket Council of Pakistan, the meeting between the two parties was positive and constructive with participants engaging in the discussion in good faith to resolve outstanding issues, disputes and complaints. The release says PCB is giving team owners a draft proposal that has been put together at the request of the franchisee, about finding a fairer model.

The release further says that the two sides have agreed to dig deeper into the proposed model with their respective financial and operational teams over the coming weeks and aim to solve extraordinary issues of finding a mutually beneficial position as soon as possible.

PCB is in trouble over player discrimination claims

We had a very fruitful discussion today, and we are aligned with the PCB from the point of view of solving the problem by joint efforts and continue to improve and enhance GBL CPF”.
