The Indian Army has foiled two large-scale infiltration attempts by terrorists based in Pakistan where at least 13 terrorists have been eliminated and the launch pad for terror has also been destroyed. In the first incident, across the Control Line in the Mendhar sector in Poonch district, the Indian Army retaliated for violations of Pakistan’s ceasefire and destroyed the launch pad of terror which hid 10 to 15 terrorists who were waiting for an opportunity to infiltrate the Indian side. .
Sources told Republic World that the Indian Army received input that a group of 10 to 15 terrorists had gathered on the launch pad of terror and the Pakistani army would give them a shot to help them infiltrate the Indian side. “To help the intruders cross the line of control, the Pakistani army violated the ceasefire which was not provoked, the Indians retaliated and in retaliation, the launch pad of terror was a target where eight to ten terrorists were killed and others injured,” a source told Republic World. He said that as soon as the terror launch pad was hit, Pakistani soldiers were seen removing dead bodies of terrorists who had left the camp.
In another incident, the Army foiled an attempt to infiltrate the Kalal area in the Nowshera sector in the Rajouri district where three terrorists who tried to infiltrate the Indian side were eliminated. “A group of three heavily armed terrorists were seen trying to infiltrate our side through Arsal Nallah in the Nowshera sector, when they were challenged they began shooting at the army, in retaliation the three infiltration terrorists were killed,” the source said. He said that the bodies of the dead terrorists were still lying in Arsal Nallah because no one from Pakistan had come to pick them up.
As the number of terrorists in the Kashmir valley decreases after the removal of the main commanders in the ‘All-Out’ operation, terror commanders on the other side of the line of control want more infiltration to the Indian side, but because of the strength of the anti-infiltration grid in place, their design to infiltrate is being foiled. Lt. B S Raju commander of the 15-corps Corps based in Srinagar on Sunday said that the launching ground for terror in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir was full and that the Army would ensure that there was no successful infiltration.
