The Samsung Watch Galaxy is one of the few smart watches that is closest to the Apple Watch Series in terms of design and performance. Now a new one appears Galaxy Watch will come sooner than expected. Already, smart watches have made several unofficial appearances on the web and have now been seen on the US FCC certification site. The FCC list also reveals what the next Galaxy Watch iteration looks like.
According to Sammobile, as many as four variants of the Galaxy Watch have been listed on the FCC website. The first two variants come with LTE connectivity and the sport model numbers are 45mm SM-R845U and 41mm SM-R855U. The other two variants are the Wi-Fi variant and the sport model number 45mm SM-840 and 41mm SM-R850.
Sammobile to show that the larger models of the upcoming Galaxy Watch are smaller than the Galaxy Watch (46mm) and bigger than Galaxy Watch Active 2 (44mm). The company is also expected to launch a titanium variant whose price is likely to be much higher than the aluminum and stainless steel models.
According to the scheme on the FCC website, Samsung one of the upcoming Galaxy Watches will feature the Gorilla Glass DX sport. This is also seen with 5ATM water resistance. The company is likely to maintain the rotating bezel function on the upcoming smart watch.
The latest leak occurred days after Samsung announced it had received permission from the South Korean Ministry of Food Safety and Medicine to launch an Electrocardiogram (ECG) monitoring feature to Galaxy Watch Active 2. The company is likely to add this function to the upcoming smart watch as well.
