Tennis star Sania Mirza celebrates her 34thth birthday in Pakistan with friends and family in Karachi on late Sundays.
The party was hosted by television presenter Shaista Lodhi. They have posted photos of the celebration on their social media accounts.
“Thank you for your lovely wishes and lots of love,” wrote Mirza on Instagram. “I really feel blessed. I had the most amazing time with my family and friends. “
She thanked her husband, cricketer Shoaib Malik, for the “wonderful surprise”. She has received birthday wishes and lots of love from her friends and fellow celebrities on both sides of the border.
Mirza and his son Izhaan are in Pakistan to support Malik who represents Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League 2020. The team did not qualify for the PSL final scheduled today [Tuesday] 8pm at the National Stadium, Karachi. The final will be played between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars.
Mirza plans to make her digital debut with a web series MTV Nishedh Alone Together, an event that aims to raise awareness about tuberculosis. This is a digital spin-off of the TV show MTV Nishedh, which premiered in January this year. He will play himself in a fictional series.
