Islamabad: Minister of information Shibley Faraz on Saturday said that information about the assets of all special assistants and advisers to the Prime Minister Imran Khan is now available for public viewing. He said the items were divided into the division of study website on behalf of the Prime Minister.
Four of the 15 special assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPMs), are holders of dual citizenship, while the three foreign residencies. Those who have dual citizenships included Zulfikar Bukhari, a British citizen; Shehzad Syed Kazim, a citizen of the United States; Nadeem Babar, a citizen of the USA; and Tania Aidrus, canadian citizenship and Singapore. Three SAPMs who residency foreign included Nadeem Afzal Chan, the canadian permanent residence; Moeed Yusuf, living in the United States, and Shahbaz Gill, US green card holder.
Special assistant to the Prime Minister on the fight against poverty and social security Sania Nishtar has dual citizenship, according to the documents. Nishtar, along with her husband, have a shared Bank balance Rs14.8 million. The only car Honda civic (2014) in the name of husband in Nishtar. Nishtar owns the jewelry for the sum of Rs500,000 and inherited property 9.6 marlas in Peshawar.
Nadeem Babar is the special assistant to the Prime Minister on the oil industry with the status of Minister of state. He owns assets worth PC2.184 billion dollars, including multiple properties in Pakistan and overseas destinations. Babar has stakes in more than two dozen companies based in Pakistan. It also has US citizenship.
Muhammad Usman Dar is a special assistant to the Prime Minister for youth Affairs. Dar owns assets worth Rs60 million.
Lieutenant General (Retd) Asim Salim Bajwa is the special assistant to the Prime Minister for information and broadcasting, in an honorary capacity. His real estate is worth Rs151.433 million. Shares worth RS3,100,000 were purchased in the name of his wife. The documents listed one car, Toyota ZX in 2016, worth RS3 million. Two Bank accounts in Islamabad Rs291,000 and RS1,239, respectively. Lieutenant-General Bajwa also has an account in a foreign Bank in Rawalpindi that have $4,149.
Tania Aidrus is special assistant to the Prime Minister on digital Pakistan. Aidrus four real estate held outside of Pakistan, two in USA and one in the UK and Singapore, which when converted to Pakistani rupees have a value of Rs452.69 million. Property in Singapore and the United States are under the mortgage. The assistant to the Prime Minister has no property in Pakistan. It has investments in venture capital Rs12.51 million, and announced that money transfers from foreign accounts to Pakistan worth $95,790.
Aidrus has a Bank balance in various accounts both in Pakistan and abroad worth Rs34.39 million, while her husband has cash in the Bank is worth Rs9.29 million in foreign accounts. She owns a car, Toyota Fortuner, and jewellery worth RS5 million, the documents showed. She is a citizen of Canada and Singapore.
Mohammad Shehzad of Arbab: Mohammad Shehzad of Arbab is the special assistant to the Prime Minister on the establishment with the status of Federal Minister. Shahzad Akbar holds assets worth more than RS 50 million.
Scattered on foreign Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari real estate worth millions of rupees in London. His father gave him two plots of land as a gift in 2006 and 2007, while he was also blessed with 1,210 91 Central Canals of land.
