Famous bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan died early Friday morning due to cardiac arrest. She was 71.
Three-time winner of the national award, which put some of the most memorable songs in Hindi cinema, don’t hold up well for some time.
She was admitted to guru Nanak in Bandra on Saturday after she complained of breathing problems. Mandatory COVID-19 test taken at the hospital showed a negative result.
“She died from cardiac arrest around 2.30 am in the hospital,” the nephew of the Khan Manish Jagwani said PTI.
In a career spanning more than four decades, Khan is credited with the choreography more than 2,000 songs, including Dola Re Dola with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas, EK Do Teen from Madhuri Dixit-purpose Profile tezaab and You Ishq Haaye from Jab We Met in 2007.
She last put on Tabaah Hogayewith Madhuri from Director Karan Johar production Kalank in 2019.
