ISLAMABAD: The King Salman Relief and Humanitarian Aid Center (KSRelief) has launched a distribution of food bags among decent families.
Under this project, a good bag worth $ 1 million (Rs166.1 million) will be distributed in collaboration with the Punjab government.
The Saudi Ambassador in Islamabad Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki launched a campaign to distribute more than 22,000 food bags in Pakistan. This campaign will benefit more than 130,000 people in 10 Punjab districts.
Food bags will be distributed door-to-door by KSrelief officials, 1122, the local government and Hayat Foundation to avoid gathering as a precaution to stay safe from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recipients will be chosen with the help of the Punjab government. Each bag contains 10kg flour, 5kg rice, 5 liter cooking oil, 5kg sugar, 2kg milk powder, 2kg basin, 2kg dates, 1kg black tea powder and half a kilogram.
