5 Important Moves This Week, 100 Hot | Instant News

When four women fight to see who will claim No. 1 on the Hot 100 next week (currently between Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce versus Doja Cat and Nicki Minaj), a new hip-hop song that rises to the highest level one can climb. Quite a number of other releases in the same genre also found their way to the count too.

Following are the five most important steps on this week’s Hot 100 singles chart.

1 – The Scotts, Travis Scott & Kid Cudi – “The Scotts”

Travis Scott and Kid Cudi have collaborated before, but now they have taken their working relationship to the next level by forming a superduo called The Scotts. As a new band they have scored big wins straight from the gate with a self-titled song. “The Scotts” debut on Hot 100, became one of less than 40 pieces to do it in the history of the Hot 100.

In addition to the other number 1 (third) hit landings, Scott claims three other places on the chart this time, with his own landings “Highest in the Room” and “Goosebumps” at No. 38 and 49, respectively. Further down, Jackboys (another Scott group) “Out West” with Young Thug entering at No. 60

No. 4 – Megan Thee Stallion – “Savage”

In an effort to make “Savage” the biggest hit of his career, Megan Thee Stallion contacted BeyoncĂ© to work on a remix, which quickly became a big win. Currently, tracks up to No. 4, and even though it doesn’t display the Queen, it’s likely next week, at which point the full tracking template will pass. Song, Stallion’s first 10 horses, seems to be on its way to run the show.

No. 11 – Juice WRLD – “Right”

In the few months since he died, Juice WRLD’s music has continued to perform well, and several new songs featuring it have been released, but this new single is different. “Righteous” is the rapper’s first solo release since he died, and fans streamed it and bought it in a large enough amount to make it debut on No. 11. The song is his tenth 40th song.

No. 39 – Carly Pearce & Lee Brice – “I Hope You Are Happy Now”

State talent, Carly Pearce, managed to hit the top 40 at the Hot 100 this week, but just barely. The singer “I Hope You Happy Now,” a duet with Lee Brice, went up to No. 39, reached a new peak in the process. The cut, featured on the newly released sophomore self-titled album, is Brice’s fifth track to enter important territory on the chart.

No. 83 – YoungBoy Never Broke Again – “Ain’t Easy”

Like his new album 38 Babies 2 start time on Billboard 200 at No. 1, YoungBoy Never Broke Again claimed five steps on the Hot 100. “Ain’t Easy” was the highest ranking of its debut, starting at No. 83, and the other four not far behind.

Get off at No. 86, 90, 92 and 99 are “Diamonds,” “Bout My Business” with Sherhonda Gaulden, “Rough Ryder” and “Thug of Spades” with DaBaby, respectively.
