“Iran has the right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and the pursuit of its defense and security rests with the same authority as other UN members,” the expert said.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in a message stressed that Iran does not have nuclear weapons or missiles carrying nuclear weapons, noting that the US and Europe cannot lecture Iran based on the misunderstanding of UNSCR 2231.
