The popular travel website, Crater Lake Country, has created a new travel dream feature and is looking for more live webcam to include on the site. Called “Crater Dreaming,” it provides links to webcams throughout the region, according to a news release, “Even though people need to stay at home now, we want to share virtual visits to our beautiful area,” explained Crater Lake Country Manager Mark Dennett. “Hopefully, this will provide some inspiration at home and encourage people to travel again after safety.” Dennett added that the webcam page supports the U.S. Travel campaign. new one called See What You Are Missing. “Our goal is to do everything we can to help support the local visitor industry that has been hit by home stay bookings.”
Crater Lake Country, destination marketing organization (DMO), promotes businesses that surround Lake Crater. At present more than 50 local companies are partners on the website. Since its launch in 2013, 465,000 people have visited the website to plan trips.
