iPhone SE is set to go on sale for the first time in India. The most affordable Apple smartphones will be available today starting at noon on the home e-commerce platform Flipkart Prices start at Rs 42,500, the iPhone SE will get Rs 3,600 instant discount offers from HDFC Bank which reduces the effective cost to Rs 38,900. That iPhone SE will be available in white, black and red.
Launched in April, the iPhone SE is a cross between iPhone 8 and iPhone 11 – It takes design cues from the iPhone 8 and ships with the hardware and features of the iPhone 11-series. This phone has a 4.7 inch HD retina screen, metal-glass construction, biometric touch ID, and ingress protection (IP67) for water and dust resistance.
This phone is powered by Apple The Bionic A13 Chipset, which is the same chip-on system that drives the company’s flagship iPhone 11 series smartphone. This chipset makes the iPhone SE superior class most affordable Apple smartphone. The iPhone comes in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants. This is shipped with a battery with a measurable output that can last up to 13 hours of watching videos on a single charge, according to the company. Although this phone supports fast cable charging, it is equipped with a 5W charger.
Imaging is covered by a 12 megapixel primary sensor on the back and 7MP sensor on the front. This phone offers most of the camera features that are part of the iPhone 11 series, including portrait mode with depth control, quick capture, and 4K video recording. This phone is the cheapest iPhone which is equipped with 4K video support.
The phone is equipped with iOS 13, which Apple claims is the most privacy-focused operating system available on smartphones. Some other features supported by this phone include: true tone display that dynamically adjusts white balance, haptic touch feedback, augmented reality support, stereo audio recording, WiFi 6, audio sharing and eSIM support for dualSIM operations.
