In 1999, Weber was second on the role of Lark Madison Scanlon, foster sister Christina Baldwin. Now she’s the Director, residential real estate, the Agency in Pasadena, California, and, according to her the website“calls upon her network of highly skilled photographers and video operators of drones” to highlight homes she shows.
Answering the question RSN if her showbiz background helps her to sell the house, Weber reflects:
I always knew I wanted to entertain. I moved myself to California from Illinois, and within one month I got my first national commercial directed by Michael Bay. It was Miller Lite. I had just turned 21, so I was able to make a commercial—we shot it on the beach. I was on the sister show the hospital is called port Charles. My character’s name was Lark Madison Scanlon and I was angry. The brunette is always the evil.
When you meet someone to list your house, it’s like an audition. You should consider it as such; you need to bring your games and all of you. In the entertainment industry they always say it is 90% confidence, 10% talent. If you go to exude confidence that with the seller, they will trust you.
I’ll make you a confession. I don’t do the house itself, although after a struggle, I feel like I can take anybody who would come to me. People ask me, ‘can you sign a leaflet or brochure?’
Other soap actors have left the estate for many years. Chrishell Stause documenting her career on the hit reality show Selling Sunset, and Rhonda Ross the daughter of music legends Diana Ross and Berry Gordyreceived an Emmy nod for her work as Tony Burrell Another World. Now it works Ross Real Estate.
Additional suds-star-turned-hunter’s house include: Stuart Damon (ex-Alan Hospital); current Bravo reality star Ryan Serhant (ex-Evan, As the world turns); and house-flipper Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian, One life to live).
