Jeff Hardy Returns, End of Money in Bank Stacking and More Falling | Bleacher Report | Instant News

0 out of 4

    Credit: WWE.com

Friday Smackdown is the last show in front of men and women from WWE try to climb the corporate ladder in Money on the Bank on Sunday.

The last show before PPV is usually chaotic and shows almost every dispute we can see on the card. That’s not how this week’s show went down.

Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose meet for a match, Jeff Hardy returned and soon ended in a dispute with Sheamus and Otis seemed to have found a new rival in Baron Corbin.

Pay per view MITB will be interesting because it will feature two games at WWE Headquarters, but before we discuss it, let’s look at the big events of SmackDown.

1 out of 4

Rose and Deville kicked off the Friday event with a single fight. The Goddess of Gold had the upper hand but the former MMA fighter finally left with a win.

This is not a decisive victory and it does not solve their problems. If anything, Rose goes even further than Deville did.

Because Superstar is not booked for MITB PPV, it would not be surprising to see WWE ordering a rematch for the Sunday event, especially if the event ends short.

There are only six matches set for PPV, so it will be easy for management to add another battle, but it is also possible that WWE wants to extend this dispute for another month or two. If that’s the case, there’s no need to hurry to put them back in the ring.

Rose and Deville need time between meetings so their anger can boil longer.

2 out of 4

Hardy returned on Friday on SmackDown for an interview with Renee Young. He talked about defeating his demons and waiting for the next phase of his career.

The Celtic Warrior did not care about the story of his redemption and immediately pursued a Charismatic Enigma. It did not end well for the Irishman.

This is an interesting feud because for WWE to leave now because Sheamus has just returned from a long absence due to injury in January. He had a brief feud with Chad Gable and Apollo Crews but did not do much else.

These two men are former world champions and world class players. They might end up bringing the best from each other when they finally meet for their first match of this storyline.

3 out of 4

While Dolph Ziggler has shown that he still has feelings for Rose since their separation, it looks like WWE might have made Otis move to a new dispute.

This week saw King Corbin targeting Otis with insulting promos. This caused Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak to recruit them as their partners for a six-person battle against Corbin, Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura.

The Dozer looked more dangerous than before when he helped Gulak and Bryan, but Corbin finally got the win and ended the show by sitting on the steps holding Money in a Bank suitcase.

Everything WWE does on Friday feels like making Otis and The King ready to face the dispute after PPV. If Tucker cannot rejoin his tag teammates in the near future, it is smart for WWE to keep Otis involved in the storyline.

In this way, when the Heavy Machines finally get back together, WWE Universe will likely hope to see them win the title at some point. Otis’s popularity is good for the team and wise for management to keep him on television with Rose for now.

4 out of 4

To be the last show before PPV, SmackDown on Friday feels more like a business affair than usual. MITB is a priority but does not get the level of attention you expect.

Cards for PPV on Sunday only have six games in total, which will be considered low even for standard Raw episodes. Here goes the last card:

  • Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt (Universal Championship)
  • Drew McIntyre vs Seth Rollins (WWE Championship)
  • Bayley vs Tamina (Smackdown Women’s Championship)
  • New Day vs. Forgotten Songs vs. Lucha House Party vs. The Miz and John Morrison (SmackDown Tag Team Championship)
  • Dana Brooke vs Carmella vs Nia Jax vs Lacey Evans vs. Shayna Baszler vs Asuka (Money in the Bank)
  • Baron Corbin vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Otis vs. Aleister Black vs. Rey Mysterio vs. AJ Styles (Money in the Bank)

Two people will go through WWE Headquarters and take the titular bag. WWE has built a hype for someone potentially thrown off the roof of WWE HQ, which might only attract the attention of a number of apostate fans to see the show.

Like WrestleMania, this will be a unique experience without the presence of fans. The MITB battle has been filmed so hopefully, WWE edits it together in an entertaining way.

WWE SmackDown: Sonya Deville Continuing the Year of Breakout with Win Over Mandy Rose | Bleacher Report | Instant News

Credit: WWE.com

Sonya Deville continued his escape year Friday night at SmackDown with a decisive victory over former tag teammate Mandy Rose, where he stripped off his opponent’s false eyelashes and the attitude of the “Golden Goddess”.

Deville brought out a side of Rose that we had never seen, an aggressive advantage that forced his friend who turned into an enemy to leave luxury and darkness for greater intensity and emotion. Then he uses it.

The Pride Fighter scored what was probably the biggest win of his career when he built momentum for himself and became a runaway star from a storyline that was almost certainly designed to make him play the second violin for Rose.

Creating his own star

Deville has spent most of his WWE career in the background.

Whether it was as a member of Absolution, where she and Rose were the novice reserve for Paige, or as part of Fire and Desire that blurred from the picture while Corey Graves licked her partner in the comments, she was consistently overshadowed.

Triangular love story involving Rose, Otis and Dolph Ziggler became a major part of SmackDown and seemed to be more than just an excuse to highlight the Golden Goddess before sending her skyrocketing to the ranks of the women’s division while Deville was left to pick up the pieces.

Instead, the New Jerseyan has grabbed the spotlight by the throat and made it his.

When it was revealed that he was behind the failed Valentine’s Day date between Rose and Otis, he excelled in every important moment. From pretending to be sad about his separation from Rose to expressing his true feelings about their partnership with the savage attack he made to his former best friend in early May, he had managed to convey every intricate detail of his appearance.

Meanwhile, Rose – even though it is exactly what she needs – appears as one dimension.

WWE Creative’s handling of babyface in this story line and the lack of development to the extent that he has done has allowed Deville to attract the attention of the audience and finally show what he can do when given the opportunity to burst out of the background.

What’s Next for Deville?

His victory on Friday ensured that the feud would continue, and with that, the former MMA competitor had the opportunity to continue to look and get the attention that he might not have received had the situation remained the same.

Expect another match with Rose which, surprisingly, does not look as though it will happen on Sunday at Money in the Bank. Given the intensity of the women approaching their match on Friday night, it feels made especially for pay-per-view, where they might be able to expand on what is a very good contest, very entertaining.

Deville will continue to antagonize Rose, talk rubbish and add injury as an insult. He is a heel, and he has excelled as a very aggressive villain in this program. Rose will finally win, if only because that’s the end of this story. But don’t be surprised if, when all is said and done, The Pride Fighter itself is the one who finally gets long-term benefits.

He has been so good and revelation in such a way throughout this ordeal that one can only wonder how long before he challenges for the Women’s Smackdownown Championship, and more importantly, wears gold on his waist.

Steve Babineau / Getty Images

The 1992 men’s Olympic basketball team in the United States, also known as the Dream Team, is arguably the best sports team ever formed.

A group of 12 of the best NBA pros gathered to compete in Barcelona during the summer of 1992 and emerged with a gold medal after winning eight of their matches with an average of 43.75 points.

The players were at various levels in their NBA careers at the time. Boston Celtics forward Larry Bird has played his final NBA match. Forward Duke Christian Laettner hasn’t started yet. And Michael Jordan nearing the end of the first three peat NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls.

Net worth: $ 2.1 billion (Forbes)

The man who wrote some of the most iconic individual moments in the NBA game retired as the game’s top scorer and best player.

Debate reigns forever about whether Jordan or LeBron James has a GOAT title today, but Jordan Bulls squandered competition in the 1990s, winning titles every season where Jordan was there from beginning to end.

Jordan finished his career with six NBA championships, and five of them took place against his Dream Team teammates. The only exception is SuperSonics 1995-96.

Magic Johnson

Career Income: $ 39,342,860 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 19.5 PPG, 11.2 APG, 7.2 RPG, 1.9 SPG

Johnson won five NBA titles in his career, but the first is perhaps the most impressive. Facing the Philadelphia 76ers without big player Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in Game 6 of the 1980 NBA Final, the 6’9 “Johnson was forced to move from point guard to center.

The amazing move was finally successful, when the Magic dropped 42 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists and three steals in 47 minutes in a road victory from 123-107. It remains one of the best single game shows in sports history.

Larry Bird

Career Income: $ 24,070,000 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 24.3 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 6.3 APG, 1.7 SPG

But Bird immediately overturned the team upon his arrival, guiding C to a record 61-21 in 1979-80. They lost to Eastern Conference Philadelphia 76ers champions in the Eastern Conference Finals but won one year later.

Patrick Ewing

Career Income: $ 118,223,608 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 21.0 PPG, RPG 9.8, 2.4 BPG, 1.0 SPG

One of the most famous male college basketball athletes of all time arrived in New York with high hopes in 1985 after being recruited as a whole.

Ewing excelled at Madison Square Garden, helping the Knicks reach two NBA Finals. But the Knicks suffered bad luck from being at the same conference as Bulls Jordan, who took them out of the postseason five times from 1989-1996.

Still, the big man gave up the Knicks, becoming an almost unstoppable force below him.

Charles Barkley

Career Income: $40,301,000 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 22.1 PPG, 11.7 RPG, 3.9 APG, 1.5 SPG

The Round Mound of Rebound is a stat filling machine that did its best with the 1992-93 Phoenix Suns, won the NBA MVP award and took the team to the NBA Finals, where they lost to the Jordan Bulls.

The Suns were arguably the toughest opponents of the Bulls during the 1990s Chicago dynasty: They finished the best 62-20 league and almost pushed the NBA Final to seven matches before coupling jumper John Paxson with seconds remaining helped seal their fate.

Barkley is a double-double engine throughout his career, which is especially true with the Suns and Philadelphia 76ers. He made 11 All-Star teams and 11 All-Pro teams during his career.

Clyde Drexler

Career Income: $ 31,147,000 (Basketball Reference)

Career Statistics: 20.4 PPG, 6.1 RPG, 5.6 APG, 2.0 SPG

Clyde “The Glyde” Drexler enjoyed a decorated college and pro career that began with the University of Houston’s “Phi Slamma Jamma” team and continued on to the NBA, first as alpha for the Portland Trail Blazers and later in a supporting role in Hakeem Olajuwon Houston Rockets.

Drexler led Portland to two Western Conference titles in 1990 and 1992, but they met with two saw dynasties at the Detroit Pistons Bad Boy and Jordan Bulls.

He never won the title in Portland but did it twice with former team-mate Cougar Olajuwon in 1995, becoming the team’s second goalscorer behind the big man.

David Robinson

Career Income: $110,708,513 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 21.1 PPG, RPG 10.6, 3.0 BPG, 1.4 SPG

Admiral’s career is a game in two acts. First, he served as a San Antonio Spurs superstar for most of the 1990s, scoring 20 points and grabbing 10 rebounds easily each night.

Second, he served as a winger to continue the superstar strength of Tim Duncan, who later led Spurs to win NBA titles in 1999 and 2003.

The winner of the 1993-94 assessment title retired above after the second championship, limiting the star’s career.

Scottie Pippen

Career Income: $109,957,430 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 16.1 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 5.2 APG, 2.0 SPG

Net worth: $ 30 million to $ 50 million (Newsweek)

The best winger in NBA history won six titles with the Bulls, but his work with the 1993-94 team without a pensioner Jordan explained why he was one of the greats in the game.

Even without MJ, the Bulls went 55-27, with Pippen posting 22.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.6 assists and 2.9 steals in 38.3 minutes per match. He made the All-NBA First Team and led Chicago to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where the Bulls lost to the Knicks in a series of seven contested games.

John Stockton

Career Income: $ 67,753,000 (Basketball Reference)

Career Statistics: 13.1 PPG, 10.5 APG, 2.7 RPG, 2.2 SPG

The all-time NBA leader in assists and steals is a thorn in the opponent’s side at both ends for almost two decades, all with Jazz.

He and his teammate Karl Malone helped Jazz navigate the difficult Western Conference of the 1980s and 1990s which featured a number of talents including Johnson’s Lakers, Drexler’s Blazers and Hakeem Olajuwon’s Rockets. Jazz more than holds their own as a perpetual playoff competitor.

Karl Malone

Career Income: $ 104,133,378 (Spotrac)

Career Statistics: 25.0 PPG, 10.1 RPG, 3.6 APG, 1.4 SPG

Karl “The Mailman” Malone is a low threat that averages more than 25 points per night. He and Stockton led Jazz to successive Western Conference titles in 1997 and 1998. Unfortunately, Jazz ran to the Jordan Bulls for two years and lost the NBA Finals in six games each time.

Even so, Malone left the game as one of the 10 best bigs of all time.

Chris Mullin

Career Income: $ 40,424,600 (Basketball Reference)

Career Statistics: 18.2 PPG, 4.1 RPG, 3.5 APG, 1.6 SPG

Chris Mullin made a name for himself as a third of the Golden State Warriors “Run TMC” with Tim Hardaway and Mitch Richmond, creating a dynamic offensive team under head coach Don Nelson.

He also enjoyed a second stunt on former Dream Team teammate Indiana Pacers Larry Bird on his way to three Eastern Conference direct appearances (and one win) from 1998-2000.

Sweetly shooting Mullin is also a star on St. John’s in Queens, New York, led his team to the 1985 Final Four, where they lost to Ewing’s Georgetown Hoyas.

Christian Laettner

Career Income: $ 61,485,000 (Basketball Reference)

Career Statistics: 12.8 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 2.6 APG, 1.1 SPG

Christian Laettner was the best college basketball player in the game in the early 1990s and stands out as one of the most successful of all time. He led Duke to three consecutive national titles, winning two finals.

Laettner did not enjoy the same success in the pros but carved out a more honorable career than more than a decade from the position of attacker.

Way-Too-Early WWE WrestleMania 37 Prediction Card Match Bleacher Report | Instant News

0 out of 14

    Credit: WWE.com

WWE WrestleMania 36 is a journey like no other. No one can predict the events that surround the show. That was the first and probably the only Mania that happened without a crowd.

In the future, the potential is in the air. Especially after losing a large income from having to present the event behind closed doors, WWE wants to give a massive and unforgettable WrestleMania 37.

It starts with a big match, and the cards must be filled with talent to fulfill such promises. Roman rule, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins, Edge, Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and many more that can be displayed.

It’s too early to predict all cards correctly, but it’s interesting to look that far ahead and speculate on landscapes based on where WWE is now. Many changes are on the horizon, but everything returns to the fact that WWE can send extraordinary cards every year from now on with the talent in hand.

This is not all inclusive. Obviously, WWE will have matches to add and possibly bring back the signature Mania Battle Royals. The focus here is on the biggest match.

NXT has made its mark, establishing itself in the Stage of the Magnificence of All of them at WrestleMania 36. If WWE wants to continue to place the third brand, displaying it in ‘Mania must continue.

Charlotte Flair is unlikely to remain NXT women’s champion all year long, so someone needs to improve. Who better to do it than arguably the best female wrestler in the company? Io Shirai has been amazing since the heel change last summer.

Rhea Ripley is still young and one of the main stars of NXT. His loss to The Queen at WrestleMania brought him down one or two pegs, but he could not stay there forever. Shirai vs. Ripley is a big match that WWE needs to do on the main stage. The NXT TakeOver event will be the right place for it, but ‘Mania will present a great spotlight that is suitable for the best fantastic display on NXT.

If the NXT Women’s Championship will be maintained at WrestleMania, why not the NXT Championship? Adam Cole, Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano have been running with the title for a while, so now it’s time for new blood.

NXT always has a tendency to go to hot fresh hands. As with Robert Roode and Drew McIntyre, the arrival of Killer Kross signals that gold will soon arrive.

He could be the one to bring down Adam Cole or end the reign of The Velveteen Dream suddenly if he defeats Cole. Either way, Kross is the right dominant heel to carry the top NXT title until a decent challenger appears.

Keith Lee is the most popular star on NXT. Finding the right moment for his coronation is very important. What better way to build it than to make it steal attention at WrestleMania and win gold? He can make a tremendous impact on this place, and the time feels right.

There is no championship that is used less often than the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Since they were introduced in 2019, no team felt relevant enough to carry them with long-standing confidence.

It’s hard to say who will bring the championship to come ‘Mania, but some key teams believe it is still in the picture given WWE’s lack of imagination with these stories.

Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross have become linchpins of this division. Kabuki warriors can’t be too far behind. After that, many question marks remained.

Beth Phoenix can decide to compete again with Natalya. Several stars can be thrown together, from Ruby Riott and Nia Jax to Naomi and Carmella. It’s just a matter of who takes the ball and runs with it.

The division of the tag team in WWE shifts wildly from month to month, especially around concept time. It’s hard to say who is relevant or not. The focus is on maximizing the tag team on the list.

Akam and Rezar have had many injury problems over the years, which have held them back. But they are the perfect team to carry the Raw Sign Team Championship when healthy.

AOP vs The Viking Raiders is an inevitable clash that is likely not to wait until WrestleMania, but it can remain relevant to shifting focus. Add The New Day to the mix, and it will be spectacular.

This match might not be as exciting as a contest, but it’s important to always focus as much as possible on the tag team division. These teams are too talented to lose the spotlight on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

5 out of 14

Just like Raw, the SmackDown tag team division is constantly in a state of flux, but that doesn’t mean a great match can’t get out of it all. The Usos must be in the title arena on whatever brand they are working on.

Daniel Bryan has built a new story with Drew Gulak who can go in various directions. The Planet Champion has never shied away from the tag team’s struggles, and he might not fit the card.

What better way to build Bryan and his coach than to let them bring gold together? This could be another round for Bryan, from Kane to Erick Rowan to Gulak as his main partner. Every time, it’s entertaining.

Bryan is one of the top stars in WWE even when he isn’t shown much. A battle with the Usos will get people talking and will likely steal the show.

Nobody has a rocky road in WWE besides Elias. He has repeatedly gone up and down. Even on the most relevant, what he got the most was the chance to become a 24/7 champion. After a big win at WrestleMania, he must finally get a real boost.

The Living Truth feels very suitable to run as an intercontinental champion. Just like the man he sometimes imitates, Jeff Jarrett, he is an entertaining player who can take advantage of the highlight of that middle card.

Randy Orton always needs to be on the WrestleMania card. He is too important to be, but he often struggles to find the right place every year.

Viper can help improve Elias and potentially add more gold to an impressive resume. This may not be the most exciting in-ring contest, but it can be one of the most entertaining contests.

No one knew what would happen to AJ Styles after he was buried by The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36. It was a great match that made many people talk, but The Phenomenal One could not return the same after the fight.

No matter what, he didn’t lose WrestleMania, and he needed another big match. Aleister Black also needs a big match at ‘Mania. After doing your best to make something meaningless with Bobby Lashley, it is time to start giving credit to The Dutch Destroyer.

Black can win the United States Championship and run it briefly. Gold gives him more relevance and forces others to fight with it. It would be nice to have someone who brings that title to the match ‘Mania with real hype.

He and Styles have an unfinished business. Both can have amazing matches along with time and there are no bells and whistles. Just let them fight. This is an easy ordering decision for WWE.

8 out of 14

    Credit: WWE.com

Everything in WWE changes over time. 2020 will be very big for Drew McIntyre. He needs to prove that he is ready to be the spotlight that has been given to him. Even though he does, however, he will most likely not be the WWE champion coming WrestleMania 37.

What’s important is how he is treated. He could not get a Kofi Kingston-esque drop from the main event to the tag team division. He needs a partner who makes it in the spotlight. John Cena is the right person to help it.

The Champ has avoided wrestling for the past year. Even the Firefly Fun House match isn’t a wrestling match. That makes it strange and acts more than anything.

Cena had to fight hard for several months if she went forward to face McIntyre. Knowing The Champ, to place the right star, he will do that.

9 out of 14

    Credit: WWE.com

Who hasn’t The Undertaker fought at WrestleMania? The names have shrunk, but it’s amazing that The Deadman has never been at odds with Seth Rollins, who can be said to be Raw’s top heel.

Monday Night Messiah has all the tools and characters to be perfect for Taker, especially after the AJ Styles competition. Taker and Rollins can easily have their own Boneyard match to protect the ex from doing too much.

Dynamics are easy to sell. The Messiah acts like he’s a god who has descended to save WWE. The taker is a devil who doesn’t care. Fans will cheer for darkness to overcome the light, and it can come out best in ‘Mania.

This is probably the most reasonable match for this show. It can be built tomorrow without anyone hitting the eyelid.

10 out of 14

Some matches have been ridiculed but never delivered in the last decade more often than Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt. Both can tell great stories together, especially now after The Fiend appeared.

Beast Incarnate will appear in WrestleMania in the years to come. The hope is that he will no longer be in the title scene after giving Drew McIntyre trouble.

Instead of focusing on the championship, he can tell the people who are most suited to him. Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley is also a big match to be delivered, but The Fiend is a greater threat to a greater stage.

Lesnar vs. The Fiend has everything WWE likes about supporting matches in ‘Mania. Two big stars clash with an unforgettable story. The Beast got the main contest that looks good on the poster. Wyatt, meanwhile, has a character that is flexible enough to play heels or faces on the show.

11 out of 14

Edge wants to end his career on his own terms. WWE likes to put veterans on the title scene at WrestleMania, and it makes sense for him to be interested in becoming a WWE champion again before he retires from the ring forever.

Kevin Owens has been named as one of the top babyfaces on Raw in the past few months. Given their relationship with Edge, they will be able to tell a great story with whoever wins.

This feels like a win-win scenario for all involved. Raw has the top title match with new rivals. Edge will have one last big title match at the Grandest Stage of Them All. KO got his biggest moment in ‘Mania to date.

While several other names, including Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt, stand out as possibilities, this feels like the most natural story to tell coming from Mania this year, where the two men stand tall.

12 out of 14

    Credit: WWE.com

No WrestleMania would be complete in this era without Charlotte Flair. He has been a major player in every show for several years, and his matches are always promoted.

He has run most of the list, and he will spend a lot of time in 2020 working at NXT. There was no way he would stay there. It made sense for him to drop the title and take back the red brand afterwards.

This relies on the idea that WWE will host the draft, and Becky Lynch can head to SmackDown in that case. That would leave the Queen to carry the brand, and her main rival was a woman she had not fought.

Charlotte Flair vs Shayna Baszler will be a physically intense match, with the two women taking the technical route to weaken body parts before delivery. The two women, who both use the queen as part of their nickname, will have a lot of enemies.

13 of 14

A year ago, it seemed certain that Becky Lynch would fight Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania. The Baddest woman on Planet took a break from WWE, and she hasn’t been seen in the ring since.

His name still appears. His feud with Shayna Baszler includes many references about Rousey, Ratu Ratu’s best friend. Given Lynch defeating Baszler, it seems right to state that only a woman is left to challenge The Man.

Both of them participated in the excitement if Triple Threat was screwed at WrestleMania 35 which would have been better if only Lynch vs Rousey.

As long as the Baddest Woman on Planet exists, this must be the plan. Make sense. WWE and MMA’s Four Horsewomen will likely clash throughout the company once Rousey returns.

14 out of 14

Will Goldberg still be able to compete with other years of aging? WWE probably doesn’t care. Roman Reigns vs. WWE Hall of Famer is a game too big for the company to defeat.

Instead of telling Goldberg to win the WWE Universal Championship again, it makes more sense for The Big Dog to win the title and challenge the legend in the match.

It might not be a long contest. Goldberg cannot work for more than a few minutes, and he will be 54 in 2021. Both of them only need to get physical from the start.

This could be the battle of Spears where Reigns leads the action, becoming the battle of the great finisher loved by WWE in recent major events. Maybe next year will be less interesting than this year, but the promotion wants this to be more than just another match.

WrestleMania WWE Results 36: Matching Which Leaves the Best Impression | Bleacher Report | Instant News

When faced with difficulties, WWE has been known to mix things up. And that is the point WrestleMania 36, watch the first two nights of the event’s long history.

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, this year’s Show of Shows is the most unique ever. Some games are recorded without crowd at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, while others have cinematic-style presentations and do not occur near wrestling rings.

This will definitely be a pay per impression that will be remembered by many people. Nonetheless, WWE features most entertaining shows featuring several quality matches throughout the weekend.

What follows is a look back at three matches that left the best impression at WrestleMania 36.

Boneyard Match: Undertaker beats AJ Styles

If WWE will occasionally make a cinematic style match moving forward, there needs to be a production team that puts together a Boneyard match in charge of them.

This is one of the best versions of the format that we have seen, and of course the best WWE has been made.

Editing, rhythm and music combined to create an epic meeting between The Undertaker and AJ Styles that will be remembered as the best part of this unusual WrestleMania.

It is far better to watch The Deadman, aged 55 on March 24, in this type of match than the traditional single match at this time in his career, so hopefully we will see more about this with him in the future.

It was incredible watching veterans throw away the three members of The O.C. while fighting them on the roof of an abandoned building. He threw Luke Gallows, delivered Tombstone Piledriver to Karl Anderson and then strangled Styles to the ground below.

The Firefly Fun House match between Bray Wyatt and John Cena was also fun, but that didn’t quite match up with Undertaker-Styles.

The tomb meeting was far better than anyone had expected, and it had a memorable end when Taker buried Styles alive, with only The Phenomenal One’s hands sticking out of the ground to end the fight.

Consider the first half of WrestleMania’s 36th night Boneyard match, because that is the most entertaining part.

NXT Women’s Championship Game: Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to win the title

Some people may not be happy with this match ending with Charlotte Flair winning another title, but it cannot be denied that the chemistry she has in the ring with Rhea Ripley, who entered Sunday night holds the NXT Women’s Championship.

And that is something that must return to WWE again in the future.

With The Queen now the NXT title, there is a possibility that she will roam her old land under the yellow-black brand. Not only is it beneficial for NXT because it continues to grow on Wednesday night, but it will also give him some much needed new opponents.

One of those battles will likely be a rematch between Flair and Ripley, which opens the second part of WrestleMania 36 with a 20-minute battle that tells a great story.

The Queen kicked her out of the early Riptide by Ripley and attacked the injured Nightmare’s left knee and finally made her enter the eight figure leglock in the middle of the ring.

Some matches in the empty arena WWE has filmed at the Performance Center are lacking, but this is not one of them. Ripley was impressed in his first WrestleMania show, and it would be nice to see where he went from here, maybe looking to take back the NXT title from Flair.

SmackDown Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match: John Morrison defeated Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso to defend

This is another empty-arena match which is likely to go down as one of the best during this unusual time. John Morrison, Kofi Kingston and Jimmy Uso are known for hitting a few crazy points, and that’s what they did in this Triple Threat ladder match.

The biggest thing that can be taken is that Morrison is still able to display great performances on the biggest stage. In her first WrestleMania match in nine years, The Shaman of Sexy reminded fans what made it so special during their original trip with the company.

Combining his parkour style, he made some amazing moves, including Starship Pain one foot to Kingston on the stairs.

And, of course, members of The New Day will give, because he develops in this type of match. The stage might be smaller than WrestleMania last year, when Kingston won the WWE Championship, but it was as entertaining as usual.

Whenever Morrison and Kingston are involved in a gimmick match, they find innovative places to be brought to the table, so it’s really not surprising this match is one of the most exciting on weekends.

Hopefully, Morrison will continue to get the chance to show his talent, maybe even with the singles running after the SmackDown Tag Team Championship reigns with The Miz.
