Destiny 2 has a long future ahead of him.
Yesterday Bungie introduced a plan for now, plan for this coming fall and plan throughout 2021 and 2022. It seems as though the company is committed to doing it Destiny 2 full time, without fear Destiny 3 the reset button towered over it. That’s good news on paper, as long as Bungie can get it Destiny 2 back on track and cancel many of their latest design decisions.
Patch 2.9.0, the latest update, seems like a good start. 2300 Bright Dust (premium crafting reagents) has been added to the season ticket, the attack prize drops have been rubbed and additional prizes now fall for Trial wins (read: the last two things are intended to improve the quality of life for endgame content).
The real big news? Bungie remodel the controller remapping. Controller presets have always been the thing, but now you can create controller layouts that are entirely special. That includes customization of vehicles in and out, as well as three “type” inputs: press, long press and double press, above “chord” (multi-button press).
Destiny 2 not the most complicated game because of the simplified ability for each class, but more accessibility and customization is a great thing. Each game must allow players to swap control settings around. You can see a larger list of patch notes below!

There is potential
Amazon Game Studios was founded in 2012. Can you believe it? This initiative has been rocked by shifts in priorities and cancellations of projects that were not announced, but it is hard to believe that it has not released game changes so far in its lifetime.
Trial and New world (the last now scheduled for August 25, 2020) wants to change that reality this year, but the first will need a little work to compete with the shooter market today.
Because the entire Amazon Game Studio initiative is quite confusing and smooth, let’s describe everything in a digestible way.
Trial is a third person hero shooter with three main modes (capture aim, quasi-battle royale, capture the point). Now it’s out on Steam for free, but also has various levels of buy-in and micro transaction systems. The main developer is Relentless Studios, which is part of Amazon Game Studios and is based in Seattle. There, it’s a fairly easy macro breakdown.
Mechanically, it is actually very similar Overwatch. Let’s take the basic character, Captain Mendoza. He has several abilities: run fast, drop a drop of supply, throw a flash grenade, and the opportunity to direct his gaze, all standard items. But Trial also incorporates the MOBA style design (RIP Paragon role model) where you choose your talent for a certain level before you play to tell your personal playing style.
For example, Mendoza can accept passive damage to his rifle, or choose a faster reload or defensive mindset. Fortunately, all of these improvements are user-friendly and don’t require hours of study outside. They are also opened organically through “essence,” which is like the more interesting XP system obtained by killing neutral enemies (creeping) and capturing harvesters (structures) around the map. However, efforts to adjust this game to your liking also have a tradeoff.
Even though hero shooters are the most preferred thing, they can also be a balanced nightmare. Having everyone who serves as the same blank slate has its benefits, because that is one thing that is out of balance. But with the hero shooter, the team constantly adjusts and changes small parameters here and there in an effort to keep everything in line: this is a full-time show for the full-time team. Amazon has a job that suits him Trial.
Some characters, like Tosca (small animals) are very hard to hit and can blink (teleport) quickly, which is a problem considering the long time-to-kill (TTK) period in Trial. Others, such as Drakahl (giant fish creatures) can feel extraordinary with their lifesteal abilities, when other characters have to rely on a little healing which makes them very vulnerable. So far, it is very common to see several combinations of Tosca and Bugg on each side because they are very difficult to solve.
Which says, Trial has a very reasonable number of characters now (10) to the point where there is something for everyone: whether from a play style or personal angle. Frankly I actually really like the design for Core 10 so far, and feel like the list is far more powerful than similar hero shooters (excitement from Bloody edge and boredom Brave come to mind immediately). Lots of love makes them, and the devil is in the details like Bugg’s rotating eyes and rusty robot chassis; or Tosca’s vocal line and appearance that makes me laugh constantly. This list will ultimately direct the game to many living rooms: it has the perfect balance of Saturday Morning Cartoon and grit.
Other driving elements Trial are three game modes, which should be very familiar. “Heart of the Hives” assigns players to reach the “heart” goal to win in 4v4 format. “Alpha Hunters” is a one-life mode (battle royale) with eight teams consisting of two and “temporary alliances” that are broken up in the final three-person battle. “Harvester Command” involves a lot of points with a team of eight players who need to be captured for points.
Heart of the Hives may be considered a “core” mode and has many highlights Trialpower. You enter as a team, then fight against the “lair”, which is a giant NPC spawning boss. After killing him (and fending off the enemy team) you reach the heart’s goal three times to win.
It is very exciting when the goal is exhausted and allows for many relaxing moments with your team when there is a stoppage time between the two, killing the hordes for the essence. Other modes are a bit more generic because most focus on direct battles through the deathmatch sensibility, which only exhibits a few TrialWeaknessed the train, which I will go in more detail with below.
As far as monetization goes, Trial feels bog standard and more time will be needed to see if Amazon tries to spin. It has a battle permit card (like every modern game) with cosmetic gifts, as well as a “shop” where you can buy skins, decals, and emissions for “credit.” Skins range from 500 (mostly recolors) to 1000 credits (unique skins), with credits average around $ 10 for 1000. Again, that’s the standard for this genre, and if you enter before June 2, you’ll get 1,000 free credits: that’s enough to buy the first battle ticket. An eight-week pre-season starts this week, leading to the first appropriate season.
While the nitpicks above can be considered a minor complaint, and the basic design philosophy of this game is good (we need more genre-bending shooters that are there for more than a year: good luck for the team), implementation is still lacking. Trial janky, plain and simple, and having in-game models appear and disappear (even drop pods) or stutter is common. Amazon should also really pay attention to their competitors and make the action of shooting more impactful, because the aesthetics and sound effects of battles today are often less satisfying. The same is true for menus, which are missing, and lack of functionality such as text or voice chat.
I will watch Trial and keep playing it. There are shooters from previous years that still fit in with my current rotation, but long-term support is what will really help make the game sing. Despite the fact that Amazon Game Studios has been around for almost a decade, we don’t know if it’s really on the card. If not, it’s a shame, because there are many personalities here.
[These impressions are based on a copy of the free-to-play game]
Fashion and sports are not fields that will be seen together for one person as a career choice very often. Gauri explained how that happened, “I was really a tomboy when I started shooting. I used to wear loose and loose shirts. But after gaining exposure through international competitions and dating, I somehow fell in love with fashion. Since then, I have tended to make my own hair and makeup. So that’s how it all began and I want to pursue it as a career. ”
His tendency in fashion does give him criticism, especially when he posts photos on his Instagram. He said, “I get a few comments on Instagram with people telling me,” You are an athlete and you have to stay that way and not be too involved in fashion. ‘ But, I think you can always create a balance between two things that you like in your life. If you do sports, you can always devote time to other things that you like. That’s how you stay sane. ”
‘We want the sandbox to feel interesting, exciting and dynamic’
Once again Bungie changed her mind about how things went Destiny 2.
While we have already discussed some of the changes to come, which sounds good on paper, Bungie’s new blog covers the power level. If you do not play Destiny 2: the power level is basically just an extension of the mechanical “gearscore” of the MMO, which measures the efficacy of your teeth to correctly place you in certain activities (usually endgames). It used to be called “light level,” but many things change from time to time.
In short? Bungie changed the infusion system (literally put a tooth into another tooth to increase its level). The team wants to play for “more equipment that stands out,” more often, so they will be “the best in class” after some time; basically so people don’t use the same weapon repeatedly. This is all part of the philosophy that allows “meta endgame biking”.
Legendary weapons will have “maximum strength levels,” while exotic will avoid them completely. The power level for the first one will be visible so you can “plan accordingly,” and when season 12 starts, Season 1-8 gear will be scheduled to have the maximum power level at the end of Season 11. You can find the complete system details below, issued from a long explanation.
The purpose of all this, Bungie said, was as follows: “We want the sandbox to feel interesting, exciting, and dynamic, and to develop in interesting ways over time in the same way as the game developed.” Going forward, the foundation for this change will be laid in Season 11, but Season 12 is really when you will start to see them in action.
As someone who has played Destiny because the original alpha: I don’t sell this. MMOs follow the sunset mentality like clockwork (it is a pity for some people), but because Bungie has shown time and time again, pushing MMO sensitivity into this series, especially part of the road through the life cycle of a transition, never really came together as they think it should.
As far as I know, this can cause more grinding because old gear (both weapons and armor) is less relevant: and Destiny 2 You don’t need more than that now. Considering how boring and homogeneous armor felt felt most of the time, clogging armor also felt like an unnecessary attack, and pills that were harder to swallow than just pulling out weapons. There is still time to change things, but for now I am on guard.
It is strange that after all this time Bungie never really embraced what was made Destiny so great in the first place: action-packed, mechanically perfect weapons that are still arguably the best in the industry. It was trying to limit its playerbase and make MMO-made mountains such as to climb since the original booty cave was removed, until this decision. Although the content itself is almost always sound (minus “micro-DLCs” like Warmind and Curse of Osiris), the way you actually consume it feels slanted and convoluted.
And we still don’t have the right match for endgame content, apart from adherence to many other MMO concepts that clash directly with the game. Sometimes it surprises the mind!

A change in power level will occur Destiny 2:
Look for AI bots in a normal match on the test server
There comes a time in every life of a young royale fighting game when bots have to enter the equation whether players week to week, week wants them to muddy the place or not. PUBG hoping to help inexperienced players learn the ropes by pitting their sheep with AI-controlled cannons.
In a blog that covers 7.2 update which just hit the PC test server, PUBG Corp acknowledged that, not surprisingly, bots were “a controversial topic among the public.” The studio also mentions several important caveats: bots are work in progress – they cannot lean, take, jump, or throw – and they will not be placed in human troops. The bot will also not clean the ranking matches.
“While PUBG Veterans continue to hone their skills and improve, we see more often that many new players are eliminated earlier without killing – and often without damage handled. “
“Bots will only appear in normal games and are designed to appear less when your skills improve, but we are also aware of their current situation and are looking at your feedback,” the developer said. “We will adjust the balance, intelligence and functionality of the bot as time goes by.”
The number of bots that you might encounter in normal games PUBG on PCs will vary from match to match – this is a mixture of “player skills” and “matchmaking” servers, according to PUBG Corp.
Sticky notes also study Ranking mode, which is a problem in itself with its own rules. For Season 7, players count caps on 64 players, arcs will not appear, there are no Red Zones or Motor Gliders, and “the time and speed of the Blue Zone have been adjusted to increase the pace of the game.” This arrangement will change over time, and now, Erangel, Miramar, and Sanhok are all fair games.
If the high-pressure scenario sounds like your cup of tea (I hope I have nerves of steel), it should be noted that you can play ranking in one, two, and three squads, but there are limits on how large a skill gap you and your partner can You have. At present, there should be no more than ten divisions.
The first five ranked matches are counted as “placement matches,” your Rank Points are influenced by “kills, assists, and personal placements,” and you will get seasonal prizes based on your highest level.
Even just thinking about climbing stairs PUBG stressing me out. I will sit this one.
Ends at 9:00 p.m. PT on May 14
A few weeks ago Gearbox teased the “Loot the Universe” event Border 3. Now live broadcast for Eden-6! If you forget, this is what is needed.
From now until 9:00 PT on May 14, you will be able to travel to planet Eden-6 to get more booty. Each zone will be affected, but will host an enhanced opportunity to reach for one of the legendary heavy weapons, sniper rifles, assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns or pistols. This is pretty much in line with the events they have run in the past that are centered around an increased elite decline: only a focus zone, and intended to make you do a little leap of the galaxy.
To be honest, it’s a good idea to keep the old zone fresh, and MMO tactics are typical for getting people to revisit old content. With a fast-paced live service game lately, it’s easy to tear apart old content and ignore it forever: this is a smart way to work around this.
Drop Eden-6 Loot the Universe also arrives with several other bug fixes, which you can see below. Next week, the spoils will take place in Nekrotafeyo from May 14 at 9 am PT to May 21 at the same time.

The sensation of hunting
A few hours early with Predator: Hunting Area confirmed that yes, this 4v1 format is fun.
New PlayStation 4 and multiplayer PC titles from Friday the 13th: Games the creators of IllFonic pitted four army players against AI-powered guerrillas and one lone predator in the lush and panicked paranoid forest.
The idea of jumping from tree to tree as a Predator – partly veiled, thermal vision activated, a cannon mounted on the shoulder ready for use – pretty much sells itself as a fantasy of the power of video games. That is good. I’m sure most of you don’t need a review (let alone a review in progress) to let you know.
But surprisingly, I enjoy being in almost as many human fireteams. There is security in numbers. In fact, to be as deadly as an alien warrior can be near, I often more nervous play as a big lug. The pressure not to ruin your fame for 15 minutes in front of strangers is real, and it’s tense.
Predator: Hunting Area (PS4 [Reviewed on a PS4 Pro], PC)
Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
Released: April 24, 2018
MSRP: $ 39.99
With the timeliness as a Predator, you can remove a team that is fatigued, fragmented, and out of ammunition in minutes – the mission is complete. On the other hand, if the army unites and doesn’t waste time completing objectives and extracting via helicopter, it will be difficult to find your gap.
Hunters’ abilities are very strong, and instead, they run on the energy meter. You can’t just go around taking picture spamming forever. The default loadout is a little simple – you won’t be able to shoot a net or throw a disc or hold a badass bow until you play enough to level up – but there are enough things to keep the match interesting. If you work too hard and need to be healed, you can chew the boar. If everything is really out of control, destroy it: there is always the option of self-destruction. That’s satisfying in itself.
Warrior side Predator: Hunting Area reminds me of a feeling that is rougher, a little cheaper than the old one Far Cry game, at least when you fight AI. That applies to gun control and movement – everything is fine – and also the level design, camp layout, and start-things-and-maintain-it. It is all very routine. But given the fast time constraints and the looming threat that predators can hit at any time, you will be too distracted to pay attention.
When you have lost sight of your astute enemy and suddenly you hear crashing footsteps, panic arises.
I was surprised at the level of progress and unlocking the replacement gear. It flew this far, and that’s important. Once again, your options are limited to both parties starting, especially in terms of Predator weapons and fireteam classes. Beyond the level-based development system, there are also many cosmetics, many of which are basic pistol skins that you will get repeatedly in loot boxes. If you prefer to only save points, you can jump for the Predator armor of your choice – no need to rely on RNG.
One big question mark for Predator is performance. On PS4 Pro, frame rates can be tolerated at best, but are not consistent. Sometimes, it can make a game that is already chaotic even more difficult to follow. If you prefer to use the PC version, please open: there is cross-main support – and activated by default.
Matching is another obstacle now. Not surprisingly, it is much faster to get into the fireteam squad than to set up as a Predator – a minimum of a few minutes, at least in my experience – but even after you are matched, you must undergo an unexpected loading long on the screen before you can play. (For what it’s worth, you can change your loading, weapons, benefits, and skin while you’re pairing, which helps.) However, I feel I always need my cellphone to pass the time.
If you come with that warning in mind, there is a decent experience here for stealth action and shooter fans who have waited too long for another gap in the Predator. There is a simple excitement to easily run trees and jump across branches. This game has enough boxes.
I’m not sure how long the honeymoon period will last Predator: Hunting Area or whether some initial technical issues will be dealt with on PS4 in the near future – if ever – but for now, while people are still learning the ins and outs together, this game is an entertaining little sensational journey.
