PromoDrone partners with Bella Wings for banner ads | Guam business | Instant News
PromoDrone, a San Diego-based drone advertising and promotion company, announced that it is partnering with Guam’s Bella Wings Aviation in an international licensing partnership that is “a first of its kind,” according to the April 9 release from PromoDrone.
“This partnership defines an entirely new (unmanned aerial vehicle) vertical frame that has been in construction over the past few years,” said the release.
During the pandemic, PromoDrone launched a “business-in-a-box” licensing model, whereby operators in other regions can take advantage of the PromoDrone banner system and process to conduct air advertising campaigns in their local markets. This new business model allows PromoDrone to scale its technology and simultaneously create entrepreneurial opportunities and jobs for UAV operators and professionals around the world, according to the release.
Charlie Hermosa, president and co-founder of Bella Wings Aviation, stated, “As the drone industry continues to grow, we feel that PromoDrone’s innovative thinking is in line with our core business. This is a unique bully for air advertising. “When asked about the partnership, PromoDrone founder and CEO Jamar Williams stated,” As an experienced and forward-looking drone company, Bella Wings Aviation is the perfect partner to take the drone advertising industry to the next level in Guam and the South Pacific region. “

San Diego Food Bank Launches New ‘Super Pantry’ In Miramar Area | Instant News

The San Diego Food Bank has helped more than 600,000 people since the start of the pandemic, with site throughout San Diego County. On Friday they opened their 35th “super kitchen,” a high-volume drive-through food distribution site.
The new site is at 9151 Rehco Road in the Miramar area. It will be open to the general public Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to noon. People are welcome to drive or walk to receive assistance.
Every Friday, the Food Bank will hold a special food drive targeting a specific part of the population.
Volunteer from RedCoats Holiday Bowl and San Diego Tourism Authority partnered with Food Bank for opening day distribution for local hotel workers who lost their jobs due to the pandemic, a group previously reached by Food Bank in other locations.

Food Bank President and CEO James Floros said the new Miramar super kitchen was part of the organization’s Phase Four COVID response.
“We have a very strong distribution network with 500 non-profit partners and 200 other distribution locations. We are expanding our supply chain and adding super kitchens, doubling the size of our small kitchens to ensure that we can reach that gap in service, “he said.
The Food Bank has distributed more than 59 million pounds of food across the pandemic. But Floros admits some people may be reluctant to get help.
“Our message is that there is plenty of food,” he said. “People can come, get the food their family needs with the complete client dignity.”

Swiss court against prosecutors in FIFA case | National news | Instant News
ZURICH (AP) – A Swiss court ruled that the special prosecutor investigating the former Swiss attorney general acted illegally while pursuing a separate case against FIFA president Gianni Infantino, the governing body said Thursday.
Prosecutor Stefan Keller said in December that Infantino had to face a criminal investigation for disloyal management using a private jet ordered by FIFA from Suriname to Geneva in 2017. Infantino has visited a football federation in the Caribbean.
“It is now clear that this baseless and defamatory statement was made on the basis of an investigative act which is in itself illegal, null and void,” FIFA said.
In a statement, Keller’s office said A Swiss federal criminal court ruled he did not have the authority to conduct an interview in November with someone close to Infantino about the use of the jet. Interview transcripts will be removed from any investigation.
Keller was appointed by lawmakers last year to examine Swiss citizens’ formal complaints against former attorney general Michael Lauber and Infantino. They held undisclosed meetings in 2016 and 2017 while Lauber led investigations into international football officials.
Lauber what overthrown last year.
FIFA’s ethics committee closed its own examination of the private flight last August after a formal complaint had been filed.
