Hotel, restaurant owners to stage protest in Islamabad | Instant News


Peshawar: members of Pakistan hotels and restaurants Association (fra) on Wednesday announced to take out a March from Peshawar to Islamabad today (Thursday) to demand the opening of their business.

The President of fra, Habibullah Zahid, told reporters that they will leave Peshawar paid space at 1pm and spend a peaceful demonstration of protest in front of press club Islamabad.

“We remain calm during our protest,” he said, adding that the closure of hotels, restaurants and wedding halls were badly damaged hundreds of thousands of families throughout the province.

He said it was amazing and regrettable that the whole business was resolved after loosening the lock downs in connection with the epidemic of the coronavirus, but the hotel business was not allowed to work.

Calling the ban on hotel, restaurants and wedding halls, as the injustice of all workers and their families, Habibullah Zahid asked the government to pay attention and to relieve their worries and disappointments.

Habibullah Zahid said Prime Minister Imran Khan said the development of tourism, but half the season has passed, and nothing practical had been done to encourage tourism and people.

He noted that the property tax in ICT was introduced in 1991 with the approval of the Federal government, while a similar tax on agro-farms was introduced in July 2019 after the approval of the Chamber of local authorities of MCI in accordance with section (88) of the local government act, 2015.

The letter emphasized that the Department of revenue is the collection of tax on property with established homes and houses in g-6, f-7 and F-series, and is situated on Murree road, chak Shahzad and near Sihala.

In addition to the CDA of the opposition, many owners of spacious homes also rejected a tax on luxury dubbing it as discriminatory on the basis it was introduced only in Islamabad and anywhere in Pakistan.

House with covered area between 7,001 sq m to 10,000 sq m was imposed Rs70/sq. m of covered space. Had a house with a covered area of 10,000 sq. ft. charged Rs80/sq. m of covered space.

Lahore marriage hall owners to mitigate the limitations | Instant News


Lahore: the owners of the marriage hall demanded the easing of restrictions with the aim of opening their business. They raised this demand during a meeting with the Minister of agriculture, Malik Nauman Ahmad Langrial held here on Tuesday.

President marriage hall associations Khalid Ahmed MIAN Muhammad Ilyas President Lahore marriage hall Association, Malik Atik, h Shafiq and other members informed the Minister about their problems, that there are millions of people associated with the business.

Because Covid-19, wedding halls were closed on March 14, 2020, which was led by the business people/stakeholders for a miserable life, they said. The Minister said that with the advice of the Minister for industries MIAN Aslam Iqbal he will speak to Usman Buzdar on this issue. Inshallah, the SOP will be prepared for you after Eid and soon the government will solve this case, he said. The Minister of agriculture Nauman Ahmad said that the government will certainly open this business soon.
