ISLAMABAD: Supported by the election of PDM candidate and former prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani in Senate elections, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said Saturday now the PDM will decide when and where a vote of no confidence will be filed. against Imran Khan, the puppet speaker or chief minister.
“This puppet cannot compete with the plans of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif,” he said while addressing PDM MPs, who had gathered at the Sindh House, Islamabad to celebrate Yousaf Raza Gilani’s victory.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz also attended the event.
Bilawal said Imran’s frustration was clear to all and Gilani’s victory had exposed the “fascist and puppet”.
“Today, on the one hand, the whole of Pakistan is witnessing our victory, on the other hand, an angry old man can clearly see the end of his life and is frustrated at Gilani’s victory,” he said, adding that now an authoritarian government is in place but “We are playing the cards. politics and expose these fascists and puppets “.
He said the PDM had a big decision in no time, because Imran Khan had relegated the National Assembly.
“The space for PDM is very small but it is sufficient for us to expose this puppet. Every province in Pakistan is with the PDM because we won through general elections in all four provinces, “he said, adding,” The victory of our candidate in one seat in Islamabad has proven that politics is not just an art of possibility. , but also the art of making the impossible possible. “
He said the doll had not been able to run Pakistan in the last three years. He says Imran ran alone to win the race.
“The media are chained and the judiciary has been under pressure for the last three years, whereas over the last three years political leaders, council members and their families have been pressured and victimized. The puppet had given the impression that they were on one page and he was there to stay not only for five years or ten years but forever. “
He said because of the Democracy Charter (CoD) signed by Benazir Bhutto and Nawaz Sharif, a peaceful transfer of power was possible.
He said Members have proven that Imran Khan has lost the majority in the National Assembly.
“Now the Pakistani president is also saying that Imran Khan has lost his majority. Imran cannot prove his majority by inviting his party procession to parliament, ”he said, adding that Imran Khan had neither in parliament nor public support.
Bilawal said attacking MPs, especially women, is a tradition of Imran Khan and his men and it is not the culture and attitude of the Pakistani people. He, on behalf of the entire PDM, strongly condemned the attacks on PML-N MPs.
Bilawal said the government was a threat to the system and it was unfortunate that Imran Khan did not condemn the attacks on PML-N lawmakers.
“This attitude shows that Khan is not a democrat or a politician. Using foul language and leveling accusations is the practice, ”he said, adding that Imran Khan should have learned from Yusuf Raza Gilani how to become prime minister.
The PPP chairman said Zardari spent 13 years in prison on false charges and 99 percent of the cases against him were proven wrong and courts acquitted him, but whatever Imran Khan has done to the state in three years the Pakistani people cannot forgive. .
“Zardari restored the Constitution to its original form and gave rights to the provinces.”
He said the paternal and maternal families had been in politics for generations.
“My grandfather was a co-founder and president of the Sindh branch of the Awami National Party. We are proud that we never ruled from the back door and never will, “he said.
“Over the last three years, our workers, farmers and traders were killed economically by Imran Khan and now they are all celebrating our victory in Islamabad. If PDM continues to struggle with the same hard work, success will continue to be ours. This success will not come from one side but from everyone in Pakistan. “
Maryam Nawaz said Imran Khan took a false vote of confidence and made lawmakers vote for him at gunpoint.
“Ahead of the vote, the House of Parliament has turned into a” bunker “with armed guards on patrol,” he said, adding that he was proud of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ahsan Iqbal, Musaddiq Malik, Murtaza Javed Abbasi and Marriyum Aurangzeb to take over the thieves and PTI goons are like lions.
“A handful of lions proved too much for a few dozen ‘burgers’; the lion is the lion, the wolf is the wolf, “he said.
He said, when the PTI was in opposition, they used to carry out negotiations in parliament. Now that they have come to power, they have acted in the same way.
“They showed the worst behavior by throwing shoes at Ahsan Iqbal and attacking Marriyum Aurangzeb.”
Today, he said, the whole country is ashamed. Every girl and mother in Pakistan has bowed her head in shame. “
He said the ruling elite lost their minds with Yousaf Raza Gilani’s victory.
“They lost in the people’s court and now those who save Imran Khan must also accept people’s decisions,” he said, adding that what happened in Pakistan is also happening in the United States and “Pakistan Trump” is also trying to save himself.
“Their days are numbered and they must leave,” he said.
Gilani came down hard on the government and said it was his government credit that passed the 18th Amendment, awarding the NFC Award because it is the essence of democracy.
He said even President Alvi was sure that the prime minister had lost the majority.
Meanwhile, former president Asif Ali Zardari called PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal and condemned the attack on him and other PML-N MPs including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Musaddiq Malik and Marriyum Aurangzeb and declared it a manifestation of an undemocratic philosophy.
Zardari said this attack was a testimony to the political intolerance of the ruling party.
“Imran has lost his mind after the political defeat,” he said, adding that Marriyum Aurangzeb’s mischief was unacceptable and condemned.
“Imran Khan has promoted the use of foul language and intolerance in politics,” he said.
