Today Creative Assembly releases a new trailer and a release date previously announced A Total War Saga: Troy, and plans have changed.
While the game was originally revealed with Steam page (which is still available) with the 2020 release, we now know that it was released as a temporary exclusive for 12 months on Epic Game Shop on the 13th of August.
The good news is that it will be free on the first day and going forward exactly 24 hours, so if you are there on the launch day, you don’t have to pay a penny.
The developer also announced in blog post that there are no plans for more games to become exclusively Epic Game Store. The Creative Assembly wants “future Total War titles to be available simultaneously, starting on launch day, in as many stores as possible.”
