The Xiaomi Mi Band 5 fitness tracker will look similar to its predecessor

The device will once again be made of plastic, and it will be sent with silicone tape. The appearance will be flat, but the protection above it will curve, it seems.
This picture shows us the black variant of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 fitness tracker.
A little weird, but there you have it. Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will also be shipped with a new charging dock. The pier has been displayed in real life pictures. It will still be made of plastic, and make use of pogo pins.
Mi Band 5 will be official on June 11th. Xiaomi announced it recently. The first device will be launched in China while the global release will soon follow, most likely.
Alexa support will be included outside of China
Xiaomi Mi Band 5 is expected to bring various improvements over its predecessor. This will support Alexa. So, you will be able to control the device that your Alexa supports using this fitness ribbon.
That support will be available outside of China alone, it seems. In China, the device will be shipped with smart assistant XiaoAI Xiaomi himself. The assistant is also included in Mi Band 4, although only in China.
This device will display a 1.2 inch screen, if rumors can be trusted. That means it will look a little bigger than the one in Mi Band 4.
Mi Band 5 will also be shipped with five new activity modes. Modes include yoga, elliptical machines, rowing machines, jump rope, and indoor cycling.
This device will also include a Sp02 sensor for monitoring Blood Oxygen. A heart rate sensor will be included on its back, and the device will be waterproof and dust resistant.
You will be able to control your music through the band, and also see notifications by using it. These features are also available on previous models. The NFC variant of Mi Band 5 will almost certainly be available too. The device is rumored to be worth around CNY180 ($ 26) in China. So it might be a little more expensive outside Xiaomi’s homeland.
