Facebook add seventh emoticon for the reaction group as the corona virus pandemic continue to slam civilization. The new “care” emoji, which is a yellow smile that embraces the red heart, will appear on the main application and website globally next week, with a pulsating purple heart in Messenger launched starting today.

Alexandru Voica, a communications technology manager on social networks, tweeted Friday that the company hopes “this reaction gives people an additional way to show their support during the # COVID19 crisis.”

Emojis can be accessed through the Like button in the same way that Facebook’s reaction is now the subject of thumb, laughter, sadness, astonishment, love and anger. Voica says emojis can be added to “posts, comments, images, videos or other content.”

Messenger reactions can also be found by tapping and holding messages in chat.

Facebook last add a new reaction to the Like button in 2016.
