After the first SpaceX coronavirus case reported in March, six employees at the Elon Musk rocket company tested positive for the corona virus on Monday, according to a CNBC Report citing company internal memos.

One employee who was recently confirmed to be infected with the corona virus was independent, according to the report. At least in March 12 SpaceX employees were reportedly quarantined after one worker and a medical person at the company’s Southern California facility was stated positive coronavirus.

Although SpaceX has reduced the number of employees working in factories in its factories, the Department of Defense regards SpaceX’s work, along with others in the space industry, as an “important mission”. Thus, the company can continue to operate and be open even if there are shelter orders throughout the state that are forced.

CEO of SpaceX Elon Musk has been severely criticized for continuing operations at the SpaceX and Tesla factories during orders in all states in California requiring residents to stay at home (except for important activities) to reduce the spread of the corona virus.

With the first case reported in December 2019, coronaviruses are rapidly changing lives around the world as we know it, infecting around 1.2 million people worldwide and claiming more than 10,000 lives in the United States.

SpaceX did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
