YouTube is a widely used platform and millions of videos are watched almost every day around the world. It has a huge monthly and daily active user base. People usually watch free movies and TV shows on YouTube, but sometimes they actually buy or rent them for later viewing. However, there used to be very little access to movies and TV shows that were purchased or rented. It once appeared in the “purchase” section of the library. But now, YouTube has introduced new menu options. If you go to the “Library” tab, you will see the “Movies and Shows” option between the “Download” and “Watch Later” sections.
After tapping this option, you will find all the movies and shows that have been purchased or rented so far. In addition to watching the movies and shows that interest you in this section, YouTube will also show you new titles of movies and shows that you can check out based on your interests. Just like the way Netflix works. When you watch a movie or show, or when you add it to your “watch list,” Netflix will start showing you suggested titles of movies and shows of the same genre or the same actors you are most interested in.
For YouTube, it is difficult to see all the favorite movies and shows in one place. Therefore, this is a small change that allows users to quickly and efficiently view their favorite movies and shows in one area without having to search around on YouTube.
This latest update is already available, and if you download the latest version of the YouTube app, you can also see it. You can check it out in APK Mirror and Google Play Store.
Initially, you may end up not seeing the purchased items shown in this section. However, if you refresh the page and pull it down from the top, you may start to see all the items that have been purchased and leased. This is likely to be a glitch, and I hope Google will resolve and solve the problem as soon as possible!
