The Chinese smartphone brand Xiaomi has launched a new handset – called Mi 10 Youth 5G – in its home country, China. This handset is said to be a Chinese variant of the Mi 10 Lite which was launched in Europe last month.

Mi 10 Youth 5G has been launched in four storage options, according to a report by GizmoChina. It is available at an initial price of CNY 2099 (around Rs 22,500). This variant offers 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM. The 6GB + 128GB model costs CNY 2299 (around Rs 24,700). 8GB RAM + 128GB model costs CNY 2499 (around Rs 26,800) and lastly 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM variant costs CNY 2799 (around Rs 30,000).

The handset will be available starting today in pre-orders and will go on sale starting April 30.

Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth 5G offers a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10 + support, 180Hz sampling speed and peak brightness of 800 nits.

This device is supported by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 SoC which offers 5G support as well, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

For imaging tasks, this handset offers a 48MP quad camera setup. It has a main 48MP sensor, 8MP telephoto sensor with up to 5x optical zoom and 50x hybrid zoom, 8MP ultra wide angle sensor and 2MP macro shooter. At the front, there is a 16MP camera.

Powered by a 4160mAh battery, it has 22W fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, this handset features NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, infrared, dual-frequency GPS, Hi-Res Audio, and 0.91cc speakers.
