Two images shared on social media this morning are currently fueling speculation about the possibility of hardware redesign to be carried out iPhone 12 and potential introduction of the Home screen widget at iOS 14.
Shared by Twitter Fudge users (choco_bit), the image illustrates the front and rear graphical representation of the smartphone with interface elements on the screen, showing the image coming out of a tutorial or supporting documentation.
Two interesting focuses are the device’s notch size, which seems to be about one third smaller than that currently found on iPhones with Face ID, and a new camera setting on the back of the device that shows a revised lens arrangement.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believe that at least one is new iPhone in 2020 will feature a smaller front camera lens to increase the screen ratio to bezel, which ultimately results in a smaller notches in front of.
