That One plus 8 series will be available early for hardcore fans, because the company plans to host online pop-up shows. Pop-up shows aren’t new to OnePlus, though this time the company had to change things a little.
Typically, OnePlus organizes pop-up events in several cities and offers consumers the opportunity to get their new device early. Well, because of the current situation in the world, the plague, OnePlus has to adapt.
The OnePlus 8 series will be available earlier thanks to online pop-up events
Instead of hosting an actual physical event, One plus has decided to set it up online. The company went to its official forum to tempt the upcoming online pop-up event for the OnePlus 8 series.
Note that this pop-up event will only be accessible to European users. It will start after the company’s keynote on April 14, even though that’s pretty much what OnePlus said about it.
You should be able to get OnePlus 8 (Pro) early as part of the pop-up event, along with a few additional items. The company says that you have to keep abreast of its social channels, because some interesting teasers will come.
For those of you who are wondering, the company keynote starts at 8:00 PST / 17:00 CET on April 14. So you have to listen if you are interested in this pop-up event.
OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will be launched during this event. Both devices have been leaking for weeks now, and we already have a lot of information.
We have compiled the OnePlus 8 series preview article, if you want to know everything there is to know about them. We actually expect more information to surface in the coming days.
The two upcoming company flagships will look very similar
OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will really look very similar. The only difference will be seen in the camera module on the back. OnePlus 8 Pro will also be a little bigger.
Both devices will be made of metal and glass, and both will include a curved display. The camera view hole will be placed in the upper left corner of both phones.
Snapdragon 865 will refuel both of these devices, while both will support fast charging Warp 30W. The ‘Pro’ model will also support 30W wireless charging, and IP68 certification.
Both smartphones will support 5G, which is something recently confirmed by the company’s CEO. He also confirmed that LPDDR5 RAM will be included (at least in the ‘Pro’ model, but we will see), and also UFS 3.0 flash storage.
