It’s been a few years since then Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and fans are ready to dive into the Animus again. Without much warning, Ubisoft decided to host Twitch stream today (April 29) between 8 AM ET and 4 PM ET (1 PM BST to 9 PM BST for British fans). Streaming promises to tease the next Assassin’s Creed entry, using the skills of popular graphic artist BossLogic. Next, viewers stand to win some digital prizes just from the settings.
First things first: If you want to watch a bait, it’s available on the official Ubisoft Assassin’s Creed Channel. The stream does not contain game footage, but does Boss Logic making complicated artwork in real-time, using digital graphic design programs. At the time of writing, there was a shadowy figure in the foreground, with the background split between medieval European castles and a crashing sea wave.
Some gamers speculate that the next game Assassin Creed will focus on the Vikings, which allows players to divide their time between missions on land and sea wars. This flow gives credence to the idea.
If all you want to do is watch streaming, then just listen and watch your heart’s content. If you miss it, Ubisoft usually archives the video, so streaming must also be available after the fact. It’s called “Assassin’s Creed: Teaser | LIVE with BossLogic,” so just search for that one.
However, if you want to get a few prizes, the process is a bit more complicated (a little emphasis). Like many Twitch channels, Ubisoft randomly rewards users who listen for a certain amount of time. The prize in question is a kind of in-game item for the new Assassin’s Creed, although it is too early to speculate about what it might be, or when the player might receive it.
To get a chance to win it, you need to tune in to the stream, and watch for a maximum of 2.5 hours; You can continue watching after that, but you are entitled to win only for 2.5 hour blocks. If you are selected, you will get Twitch notifications in the coming days.
However, if you want that item, you must ensure that your Twitch account and your Uplay account are linked. Assuming you already have both (visit Twitch web site and Uplay website, respectively, if not), Twitch will remind you to link it with pop-up notifications when you watch the Assassin’s Confession stream. Simply log in to your Uplay account, then authorize to access Twitch. The process is not complicated and should take less than a minute, provided you remember your username and password.
If you really can’t wait for more Assassin’s Creed, you can get Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on PC, PS4, Xbox One, or Stadia, often sold. This game is amazing, especially because Ubisoft adds a variety of free and paid DLC packages. If you start the game now, it might keep you busy until the next Assassin Creed entry comes out – assuming that Ubisoft will target the October release date, as usual for this series.
