iPhone SE vs iPhone 11 comparison: Which Apple phones will be purchased in 2020 | Instant News

As a sequel to Apple 2016 fell asleep iPhone with the same name, the new one iPhone SE starting at $ 399, £ 419 or AU $ 749. With that price tag, this phone aims to court budget-minded users who might not be able to splurge on $ 1,000 handsets like iPhone 11 Pro or Galaxy S20. While that means some cuts in hardware (the cellphone has a smaller 4.7 inch screen and a single rear camera, for example) the iPhone SE does include some modern improvements, such as the A13 processor which is the same as the iPhone 11 cellphone.

Need to be more specific? Here is an in-depth explanation of how these two models differ so you can learn what exactly the iPhone SE has to offer at a cheaper price.

With a four-year gap between the new iPhone SE and the older one, Apple brought a lot of improvements. That includes wireless charging, better camera specifications and waterproof. (Unfortunately, for cable headphone users, the new iPhone SE doesn’t have a headphone jack.) If you are looking for a new iPhone but want to save as much money as possible, the iPhone SE is your best bet – you will save $ 300 directly compared to the price of the iPhone 11 (the price is $ 699, £ 729 or AU $ 1,199).

The iPhone 11 costs $ 300 more than the iPhone SE. Although it has many of the same internal specifications, however, its main advantages are twofold: It has a bigger screen (6.1 inches compared to 4.7, measured diagonally) and it packs better camera specifications around (second wide angle lenses and better selfie camera, for beginners). If both are big priorities for you, get the iPhone 11.

Size and design: The iPhone SE is small and compact

The most obvious difference between the two telephone Is that iPhone 11 greater than. The iPhone 11 has a 6.1 inch screen while the iPhone SE has a 4.7 inch screen. While you get more screen real estate for your application and watch videos with the first, the iPhone SE will attract users because of its convenient portability and compact grip.

Both iPhones have LCD screens, but the iPhone 11 has a “Liquid Retina HD screen” while the iPhone SE has “Retina HD.” This is the branding term Apple use to distinguish display technology; what you should know is that the iPhone 11 screen is sharper, even though both have the same number of pixels per inch or pixel density.

Some users will also like the iPhone SE homepage button. Now that Apple has stopped the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE will be the only Apple iPhone that will sell with a physical home button. Besides being intuitive to use, this also means you don’t have to use swipe gestures to return to the home screen or call the latest applications. The home button will also be the device’s fingerprint reader to unlock phones and authorize digital payments (what Apple calls Touch ID). The iPhone 11, however, uses a face mapping sensor on a front-facing camera for biometric security (aka Face ID).

Both devices are IP certified for water protection. But because of the iPhone 11 IP68 rated compared to the IP67 rating of the iPhone SE, that means that the iPhone 11 is slightly more resistant to immersion (as in, it’s certified to hold immersion longer or deeper in water). On paper, the IP67 certification level means the iPhone SE can hold up to one meter (3.3 ft) of water for about 30 minutes.

Finally, the iPhone SE is only available in black, white and red. The iPhone 11 comes in three colors too, but if you want more choices, you can also get it in yellow, green and pastel purple.

Camera: iPhone 11 is superior

If you are not necessarily a camera power user, the iPhone SE’s 12-megapixel rear camera should be enough to post pictures on Instagram and record normal videos. But if you care about photography or want more tools you want, the iPhone 11 has far better camera settings than the iPhone SE.

IPhone 11, for example, has a second wide angle camera. That means you can take sweeping or creative landscape photos, more dramatic images from close range. The iPhone 11 also has Apple’s low-light camera mode, Night Mode. Night Mode reduces things like digital artifacts, graininess and motion blur to capture and brighten pictures taken in dim lighting.

As for the front-facing camera, the iPhone 11 not only has a better selfie camera because it has more megapixels (12 megapixels compared to the iPhone 7-megapixel SE). It can capture 4K videos (compared to iPhone SE 1080p videos) and video recording slow motiontoo.

Processor and battery: Both have Bionic A13

As a major budget phone, Apple can equip the iPhone SE with a longer processor. But this device is equipped with the latest proprietary rights A13 Bionic chip, which is the same as the one in the iPhone 11. When we ran processing speed performance on 3DMark and Geekbench 5, both phones recorded the same results, which also said that the iPhone SE performed comparatively – and sometimes better than – Galaxy S20, Pixel 4 and OnePlus 8 Pro.

As usual, Apple does not reveal the iPhone SE battery capacity. According to the time period listed on the Apple website, the iPhone SE battery is similar to the iPhone 8, which is no longer than the iPhone 11. (Unofficial tears from third parties also reveal that the iPhone 11 has a 3,110-mAh battery while the iPhone 8 has a 1,821- battery mAh.)

However, when we run continuous video playback in Airplane mode, both phones last the same: about 15 and a half hours, giving or receiving. Although we have not run streaming testing on the iPhone SE, it promises that the first battery pack is similar to the iPhone 11.
