Huawei has recently established partnerships with artificial intelligence (AI) Xploree and Hungama keyboard applications to fill application-based service offerings on Huawei and Honor smartphones.
The Move application uploads information about opening new stores, installing public hotspots, etc., in real time which will answer users’ hyperlocal needs, Huawei said.
In addition, the navigation application has integrated 3D support, allowing Huawei and Honor users to experience the world around them using augmented reality technology and virtual reality.
Charles Peng, President, Honorary and Huawei Indian Consumer Business Group, said, through the mobility application, Move, Huawei aims to transition the user experience to an enhanced mapping ecosystem.
“Our users can now access hyperlocal real-time updates, accurate locations, direct traffic and ETA from the truly Made in India application,” Peng added.
Rohan Verma, CEO & Executive Director, MapmyIndia, highlighted that the application will be loaded on Huawei and Honor devices and will also be available in the AppGallery app store.
“With Huawei Mobile Services, we are pleased to see localized application stores and alternative application services that are widely available for Indian users,” Verma added.
Verma further said that the MapmyIndia Move application would prove to be a key differentiator for Huawei in the Indian market, across all its product lines and services.
