Rainbow Six Siege dropped the first Operation Steel Wave teaser | Instant News

Ubisoft has launched Steel Wave Operations, the next seasonal update leads to Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, on track for opening for the next week. Upcoming refresher for hit tactical shooters marks the second of the 5 Stage 5 map in stage four, surface with a faint water teaser.

Operation Steel Wave, the official title for Year 5 of Season 2, once again carries an operator duo that can be played, packaged together with the latest map rework. Ubisoft has detailed plans to explore new specialists from Norway and South Africa with renewal, each of which tends to fulfill the usual attack and defense roles. We also anticipate the promised reworking of the local icon House, broaden the overall footprint, reduce choking points, and renovate with a new interior design – but adapted to casual players.

We also anticipate the arrival of a variety of core gameplay features, first launched back in February on Six Invitational, which could potentially be combined with Steel Wave updates. The new Ping 2.0 system is scheduled to arrive in the first half of this year, with a new contextual approach that allows players to tag specific gadgets. New secondary devices can also appear, including the long-promised Proximity Alarm and the cost of a mini minor violation.

Previous leaks suggest the operator will introduce new “S.E.L.M.A.” breaking the launcher plus, while “Banshee” is deployed it will slow down the attacking enemy. Both reportedly revived existing firearms, too, including the AK-12, Commando 552, and M1014 in the attack, with the T-5 SMG and Super 90 in defense. Rumors suggest that this operator will be named Odin and Philisiwe, although it has still not been confirmed at the time of publication.

Like the previous Rainbow Six Siege update, Ubisoft rarely details the exact release date until a few more days of server deployment directly on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. However, established seasonal templates suggest a Steel Wave release date around June 7, 2020.
