The new Galaxy Note 20 leak shows how the design has changed – BGR | Instant News

  • The new Galaxy Note 20 leak includes a mobile rendering showing off its modified design.
  • For the most part, the Galaxy Note 20 looks similar to the Galaxy Note 10 in 2019, but the physical buttons and S Pen have shifted and the rear camera has been updated.
  • Rumors suggest the Galaxy Note 20 should be announced by Samsung in August.

Pandemic forced many companies in each industry to change their plans, but many product launches are still scheduled to take place this year without major changes. One such product is the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, which according to rumors and reports will come out in August, as well as the Galaxy Note 10 in 2019.

Note 20 leaks are relatively rare to date, but with an estimated release date of just a few more months, more information about phablets without notice starts making its way online. A few days ago we heard that Samsung planned to hold digital disclosure event for the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2, and now, we might have gotten our best look at the final design of the Galaxy Note 20 in a new leak.

On Thursday, David Kowalski (@xleaks7 on Twitter) teamed up with accessory maker Pigtou to share the Galaxy Note 20 rendering based on the leaked CAD drawings he got. According to the drawings, the dimensions of the Note 20 will be 161.8 x 75.3 x 8.5 mm, which makes it a little thicker than the Note 10 years ago, but feels larger than the Note 10 as a whole. If that’s the case, how big will the Galaxy Note 20+ be?

As for the design, although it doesn’t seem to have experienced any significant changes, there are a number of steps that need attention. First, the power and volume rocker buttons have been moved from left to right side of the phone. The S Pen has also switched sides, and the arrangement of the rear camera reflects the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

Previous report claims that the Galaxy Note 20 will have a 6.42-inch 120Hz OLED screen (although the latest CAD leak puts a 6.7-inch screen size), a Sonic Max Qualcomm 3D fingerprint reader below the screen, a Snapdragon 865 CPU, 16GB RAM, and 4,500mAh capacity battery. We have also heard that the Galaxy Note 20+, which is not described in the new leak, will feature a 108 megapixel rear-facing camera.

Whether this is the final design of the Galaxy Note 20, most of the rumors and reports seem to indicate that it will not be a big departure from the Galaxy Note 10. Although it is likely to take some design instructions from the S20 series, complete evolution is probably not in the cards. In other words, we must wait for at least one more generation before we see Samsung’s flagship cellphone with a selfie camera below the screen.
