MEADVILLE, Pa. – Tim Siragusa hit the round of 83 to lead the Wednesday Travel League at Whispering Pines Golf Course and claim his third career victory. Butch Mackowiak and Dave Wallace finished one shot behind with 84. Siragusa led the front nine with 42 while Mackowiak and John Waterman led the back nine with 38s. Robert Calph was the winner of Flight B in a tiebreaker with Dave Criscione. Pete Pinkoski was the winner of Flight C. The winner of the Commissioner Bruce “Java” Chrabasz Award was Brian Lore. Unbound birdies were recorded by: A Flight – Ed Tofil (# 2), Wallace (# 3), Siragusa (# 6), Bob Thompson (# 10), Tony Destro (# 11), Mike Wolfe (# 12), Al Etzel (# 13), Mackowiak (# 14) and Pat Weaver (# 17); Vol B – Jeff Marsowicz (# 1), Bill Aldrich (# 3), Joe Bifaro (# 7), Waterman (# 8), Bryan McCarthy (# 13) and Calph (# 15); Vol C – Pinkoski (Nos 2, 3), Ron Szach (Nos 5), Lenny Leszkowicz (Nos 6, 8), Tom Destro (Nos 11) and Jim Ellman Sr. (13).
