Tribunal rejects petition challenging PM Imran’s win

LAHORE: An election tribunal on Saturday rejected an election petition difficult the victory of Prime Minister Imran Khan in a written judgment.

Lahore Excessive Court docket’s (LHC) Justice Shahid Waheed issued a 29-page judgment on the election petition. As per the order, the petitioner didn’t show the allegations levelled in opposition to the premier.

“The petitioner didn’t present a replica of the election plea to all candidates and offered a mistaken affidavit with the petition,” the judgement learn.

Justice Waheed famous, “There might be no interference within the victory of the appointed candidate on the premise of baseless allegations, due to this fact, the election petition in opposition to Imran Khan will not be in accordance with regulation and is thus rejected.”
