President Trump has appointed Gen. Mark Milley to succeed Joint Chiefs Chairman Gen. Joseph Dunford.

Chief of Workers of the Military Gen. Mark Milley will turn into the following chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Workers.

President Trump made the announcement by way of Twitter on Saturday.

“I’m happy to announce my nomination of four-star Gen. Mark Milley, Chief of Workers of the US Military — because the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Workers, changing Common Joe Dunford, who will probably be retiring,” Trump wrote. “I’m grateful to each of those unimaginable males for his or her service to our Nation! Date of transition to be decided.”

Trump will attend the Military-Navy soccer recreation on Saturday afternoon. On Friday, Trump mentioned he’s nominating William Barr for legal professional common, and Heather Nauert for U.N. ambassador.

He hinted then that he would have an announcement associated to the Joint Chiefs of Workers, saying, “I’ve one other one for tomorrow that I will be asserting on the Military-Navy recreation,” Trump mentioned. “I may give you a bit of trace: It must do with the Joint Chiefs of Workers and succession.”
