At a press briefing on the coronavirus task force on Tuesday, President Donald Trump opened by discussing the allocation of ventilators, which are very important for treating patients with respiratory problems. He suggested that he would start deploying ventilators abroad, to England.
“We will solve it for them,” he said, indicating that he would send more than 200 ventilators.
Trump’s commitment comes when several countries continue to face the risk of shortages and demand more equipment from federal supplies.
