264 more confirmed cases and 20 COVID-19 deaths were reported | Instant News

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The state reported 264 additional confirmed cases and 20 other deaths over the past 24 hours.

At 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, the state reported a total of 19,952 cases and a total of 558 people died from COVID-19 in Iowa.

371 people were reported to have recovered from the virus yesterday. That brings the total number of recovery in the state to 11,556.

There were 327 patients hospitalized, with 12 having been treated in the past 24 hours. 114 patients were in the ICU and 76 on the ventilator.

In total, 163,964 people have been tested for the virus, which is an increase from 4,672 since yesterday’s reporting.
