The 10-year-old boy died in car-to-car shooting as he traveled with parents in La Puente | Instant News


Investigations into the car-to-car fatal shooting of a 10-year-old boy traveling in La Puente will resume on Monday morning.

The shooting occurred around 9:45 pm Sunday near the intersection of North Hacienda Boulevard and Amar Road, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.

The boy sat in the vehicle with his parents when someone in another car drove and shot at them, said a family member.

The victim was hit in the upper body by at least one shot, according to a news release.

The boy, identified by family members as Sebastian Falcon, was immediately taken to the nearest hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Authorities describe the shooting vehicle only as a dark-colored sedan.

There is no possible motive for the shooting to be released by investigators.
