IOWA CITY, Iowa – Iowa University announced Friday it will continue face-to-face classes for the fall semester.

“The university is committed to the safety and well-being of its students, faculties and staff and will implement recommended best practices to limit COVID-19 exposure in the campus environment,” the university said in statement on the website.

The University of Iowa offers only online classes during the summer.

All events scheduled to be held on campus during the summer will be canceled, postponed, or done virtually until July 31.
