ILLINOIS (KMOV.com) – On Sunday, Governor JB Pritzker released an outline for a business that was safely reopened in part of his Illinois Restore plan.
The guidelines will allow nearly 700,000 Illinois residents to return to work and the following businesses to be reopened: retail, office, manufacturing, barber shop and salon, summer programs, various outdoor leisure activities and bars and restaurants for outdoor dining.
“In every aspect of our pandemic response and especially when we began safely reopening important economic plots of our economy, our number one priority was the health and safety of our workers, our customers and Illinois people in general, “ the word Pritzker.
In connection with restaurants and bars, the governor’s plan limit eating out to a party of 6 or less. The outdoor dining room must keep the table six feet apart.
However, indoor space can be used to serve where 50 percent or more of the wall can be removed through window openings, doors or panels as long as the dining table is within 8 feet of the opening.
Live music is permitted but players must wear face shields whenever possible.
Health and fitness center can offer personal training and outdoor fitness classes with up to 10 people and limited contacts. Employees must wear face covers on their nose and mouth when they are within 6 feet of others.
Hair salons, barber shops, nail salons and spas can be reopened while customers and employees wear masks. People can also get massages and body treatments, such as body wraps and scrubs, as long as the service is under 30 minutes.
