Marvin Menzies is not the coach at UNLV.
The college has fired Menzies after three seasons, it introduced Friday. The Rebels completed 2018-19 with a 17-14 document.
Athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois stated a change was within the “greatest pursuits of this system” and the division.
“I wish to thank coach Menzies for calming the waters and constructing a robust basis for our males’s basketball program over the previous three years,” Reed-Francois stated in an announcement. “A change of this significance impacts many good folks. It was not taken evenly.”

Menzies registered a 48-48 document throughout his time at UNLV. The college final made the NCAA Event in 2012-13.
Menzies took over this system in April 2016 after Chris Beard left for Texas Tech lower than a month after being employed.
